Life's like a pencil
Was sharpening pencils and coloring materials today at work. And suddenly, it came to me that actually, our lives are just like pencils in many ways, or color pencils if you prefer colors.
Often we start off fresh, filled with hope and passion, like new or freshly sharpened pencils for many different events of life. We put in our best in the things we do. But along the way, after some time, due to various resons like obstacles, stress and fatigue, the hope and passion (may) just deplete bit by bit, just like how pencils get blunt or even break along the way while writing/drawing. The depleted passion, hope and beliefs often cause us to forget who we are and the reason behind how we started in the first place. Most of the time, making us or rather, me, feel like giving up. When this happens, there is only 2 things one can do.
One,
continue and just eventually die off like a broken/blunt pencil which serves no purpose and gain nothing other dust or maybe even rubbish bins, and your life pause there.
Two,
Find back yourself, the you who was once like a sharp, new, fresh pencil. That's when you need a sharpener! The sharpener can be a lot of things but what I think that played a big part is time, reflection and your determination to find back your old self. Time for getaway, time for reflection, time for searching yourself back through similar or different events.
.
If your life is like a pencil, would you want to end your life as a long pencil which wasn't fully and efficently used, or you you want to end your life like a short pencil which had drawn many pictures and wrote many different stories?
.
Everyone of use is unique and special. No one is exactly the same. So if the reality of the world is a masterpiece, then everything around the world will be the different drawing materials - pencils, color pencils or charcoals of different size, sharpness and bluntness. This creates the masterpiece, and we make the world go round.
.
As we move on in our life as a pencil, we most of the time write or draw. When we make a mistake, the good thing is that we can make amendments to it. But it much depends on the serverity which in this term, is how hard you use the pencil and how big the mistake is. It takes time and skills to amend it. If the mistake is too hard and servere, it will most probably leave a mark. But if you put in the extra effort and time to repair the mistake on the drawing, or the wrong word/phrase/sentence/punctuation on your writing, people will most of the time only look at the final product and not make a fuss over the mistakes made. Unless that person is some irritating, annoying, super picky person la.
Aiyo, the words can go on and on..I don't want to exercise my fingers and brains alrd..Nobody's gonna read it anyway. ^0^
Why am I doing this on a New Year's eve?
So,
out of curiosity to see if anyone thinks the same way as me, I went to google. AHAHA~ AND GUESS WHAT?!! Don't know if I'm a mountain tortoise or what but there are a lot people who think like me! So sad, I'm not the founder of this 'pencil and life thing'. HAHA~
. . . .
Used Snowflake to take photos most of the time lately..cos I can edit the photos with the apps and of course, much more convenient. Moreover, I have no photoshop.. ㅠㅠ

2011?
I've gotten more autistic. AHAHAHAHA~
I'm going to be #forveralone for my whole life. Alright. Not that bad cos I still have my abnormal family to entertain me at the moment. ^^
Happy Merry 2012!
